April 2025 Pupdate for Autumn

Autumn has had another wonderful month of growth in her guide dog training! She worked with more new handlers, which will continue to refine her skills. Her confidence and focus are increasing, and her guide work is becoming more polished each day. In her foster home, Autumn has been thriving. She enjoys the calm surroundings of the Portland suburbs, with the pretty flowers all around her. She’s still as sweet as ever, showering everyone with kisses and affection. Autumn also loves relaxing at coffee shops, settling down with ease, and taking in the sights. Window shopping with her instructor has also become one of her favorite pastimes — she loves exploring the world around her while keeping a watchful eye on her handler. We continue to have lots of cuddles, which she enjoys just as much as her training. Autumn’s been a great mentor to the newer dogs on my string, showing them how to be calm and confident in all kinds of situations. We’re so proud of her progress, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for this sweet, lovable girl! Keep up the amazing work, Autumn!
