April 2025 Pupdate for Dax

This month has been full of new adventures and milestones for Dax, and I’ve absolutely loved getting to know him! He’s such a sweetheart—super cuddly and affectionate—and always ready to snuggle up when he’s off duty. Dax has been doing great with his training. He handles puddles like a pro (no hesitation or splashing!) and worked confidently through busy environments like Costco. He’s also been exploring the beautiful suburbs of Portland, where he’s been exposed to lots of springtime flowers and new smells—he stays focused and curious, taking it all in stride. He’s also been going on longer routes, continuing to build his endurance and focus. He’s making steady progress, and it’s a joy to watch him grow into such a confident and capable future guide. We are so proud of him!
