April 2025 Pupdate for Timon

This month, Timon the guide dog in training has been "Hakuna Matata-ing" his way through all kinds of new adventures! Our lovable, lanky boy is continuing to grow into his role as a confident and focused guide. Timon tackled some big milestones in April, including a trip to the "wild savanna" of... Costco! He braved the jungle of oversized shopping carts and bustling shoppers with poise. Escalator training has also begun — and while they might look a little "Scar-y" at first, Timon is making solid progress and showing that he’s not afraid to take the next step (or ride!). When he’s not working hard, Timon is all about cuddles with his instructor and romping around with his dog friends. Whether he’s rolling over for belly rubs or playing with the pack, this goofy guy knows how to balance business and pleasure. He brings "circle of life" energy to every play session and is always ready to be part of the pride. We’re so proud of Timon as he builds his guide skills and grows into the noble guide dog he’s destined to be. Stay tuned — this pup is "simba-ly" the best!
