February 2024 Pupdate for Dorothy

Posted 2/15/2024

Dorothy is adjusting to life well here at DBL's West Campus. Dorothy is excelling in her obedience as she is maintaining her heel, sits, downs, come, and place through several different distractions. She was also introduced to our hearing tasks this past month and is learning to bop her handler with her nose - an alert that will let the handler know a sound is going off. Dorothy is also learning to play appropriately in group settings with other dogs off leash in the play yard. Fun Fact: Dorothy loves, (can I just say LOVES) her soft plushy toys! It is so much fun to watch her play with them. She is a bright young lady and is truly enjoyed by every one of our staff and volunteers here on campus!
