July 2024 Pupdate for Gertie

Gertie is currently in foster care, where she loves spending supervised time in the backyard and going on walks in the quiet neighborhood. I had the pleasure of spending time with Gertie last week, and was amazed at how affectionate, gentle, and responsive she was. We are hoping to have news about a special placement for Gertie shortly, where she will have the opportunity to work with visually-impaired or blind children alongside an Orientation and Mobility instructor!
