March 2025 Pupdate for Autumn

As winter slowly fades into spring, Autumn and I have been enjoying the changing seasons together. The crisp air is beginning to warm, and the city is coming to life with new sights and sounds. We’ve been working in a variety of new areas in downtown Portland, navigating busy streets, bustling sidewalks, and all sorts of interesting environments. This month, Autumn has also had the opportunity to work with new handlers, showing off her focus and dedication. One of my favorite things is watching her ears flop as she stays locked in on her work—it’s both adorable and a testament to her commitment. She even tackled a training session in Costco, weaving through the aisles like a pro! When she’s off duty, Autumn knows how to relax and have fun. She loves curling up for cuddles with me and playing a spirited game of tug with her dog friends. It’s been a joy to watch her balance work and play, growing into an incredible guide dog. Looking forward to more adventures as spring unfolds!
