March 2025 Pupdate for Santi

Santi has been making great strides in his formal guide dog training this month! He’s a smart, goofy, and energetic dog who brings a lot of joy to his training sessions. His playful, wiggly personality is always on display, and his enthusiasm is contagious. His absolute favorite part of the day is playing tug with his handler or playing with a puzzle toy. This month, Santi has been working on focusing in more challenging environments, especially around other dogs. He’s showing good improvement and his eagerness to please helps him stay on focused on his work. One of the things that stands out about Santi is his resilience and willingness to work no matter the conditions. He doesn’t mind the rain and is always ready to go. This adaptability will serve him well as he continues his training for guide work. Overall, Santi is a sweet, fun-loving dog who is constantly showing progress and growth in his training. His combination of energy, intelligence, and playfulness is a great fit for guide dog work, and I am excited to see how he continues to develop.
