September 2024 Pupdate for Lancer

Posted 9/19/2024

The Lance Party has officially started! Lancer started training this month and has taken things very seriously. He loves to balance his exciting guidework training with practicing nice manners on leash, and he has absolutely fallen in love with his trainers. His rich colored fur has been especially flattered by the fall ambience here in Oregon, and he looks even more handsome and regal when he strikes a pose in his harness. And while he loves his training time, he’s still making plenty of time for recreation and has made friends with dogs and people alike during his stay here on campus. Thanks for sharing Lancer with us!

Lancer, a male yellow lab, stretches in a “downward dog” yoga pose on his green platform bed in the kennels here in Oregon. With his rear legs stretched high up in the air and his front legs stretched far in front of him on the ground, he snuffles his nose in a blue shark stuffed toy.
Lancer, a male yellow lab, sits on a wooden bench in his GDB harness. His left lip is caught in a snaggletooth, and he looks at the camera with an adorably endearing face. Green foliage makes up the background.
