February 2024 Pupdate for Gabby

Gabby had a great month with us finishing up her training. Her retrieve is much more reliable, and she picked up things as difficult as a wrench this month. As a part of her proofing, we had the students select a bunch of novel items for her to pick up. She busted it out, picking up every item given to her - cell phones, water bottles, big metal key ring, dustpan, and even a clipboard which she had to puzzle out a bit. It was a milestone in her training for sure and her tail wagged the whole time!
